The Sage Certificate IV in Ageing Support (CHC43015) is an exceptional qualification. It has been created by aged care experts in consultation with the industry, for the industry. Sage is the first Victorian training organisation to offer this certificate on campus, full-time in 2016.
The Certificate IV in Ageing Support (CHC43015) is the signature qualification of the Sage Aged Care Worker Program. It is the most up to date, nationally recognised Certificate IV in the industry. This full or part-time classroom-based course provides you with all the skills, practical experience and confidence you need to make an immediate start to a successful new career in aged care.

At Sage, we don’t believe in online training for aged care. The Sage Aged Care Worker Program includes additional qualifications in First Aid (HLTAID003), and Leisure & Lifestyle Programming (CHCSS00080 Induction to Leisure and Health Skill Set).
The Leisure & Lifestyle Programming course was developed at the request of the industry – and is unique to Sage. This qualification makes you a better aged care professional with the practical skills to deliver health and leisure programs to your clients to improve their quality of life, whether it is in a residential, home or community based environment.
Study options and practical work placement
Sage’s Aged Care Worker Program will ensure that your learning is supported and at a pace that suits you. We have a range of delivery modes such as the classroom, simulated workplace and the real world of aged care. Delivered over a 10-month period with no breaks or semesters, you can qualify, get out there and start making a difference in people’s lives sooner!
One of the best parts about learning with Sage is the mandatory practical work placement. This invaluable hands-on experience in real aged care facilities consists of a minimum of 120 hours of supervised work placement – giving you the skills, knowledge and confidence you need to move directly into your new career.
