As our collective attention turns to the fast-approaching festive season, we thought we’d take the opportunity to wish everyone at Sage – staff, students, alumni, supporters and friends – a very merry Christmas and a safe and happy new year in 2015.
2014: wow, what a year!
It’s been a huge year for Sage with the genesis of three new divisions in our suite of industry-leading, nationally accredited training; Sage Institute of Fitness, Sage Institute of Child Care and Sage Institute of Aged Care.
Such has been the demand in every division, we’ve opened our new campus and HQ in Melbourne CBD at 600 Collins St. Similarly, we recently established a new campus at 10 Moorabool St in Geelong with new locations to be announced very shortly for CBD campuses in Sydney and Brisbane. To all our students, past and present, who have supported us, we say a huge thank you. We are delighted that we could play our part in launching your new career in your chosen field. We love to stay in contact with all our graduates – email us here at email@example.com and tell us about your progress.
Social media – sharing the Sage love
Needless to say, it’s been a big year on social media for Sage. With so much happening on campus, it’s THE best way to stay tuned to fun, events, announcements, competitions and activities on campus. You can find us on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn and Pinterest but in case anyone didn’t already know, you can also find us on Instagram. We just loved the #sageselfie and #7daysofsage competitions this year, so watch out for plenty more in 2015 and keep posting!
My Career In
2014 was also the year we established our suite of careers websites to assist with job placements in our respective target industries. If you’re friends with us on Facebook, you’ll have seen job ads getting posted directly from them. Check them out if you haven’t already, there’s one for every division:
Dream with Sage competition
One of the highlights of our 2014 was the #dreamwithsage competition where we asked you to visit our Dream with Sage website and submit an online entry telling us in 25 words or less “What would change your life and why?” With over $50,000 worth of prizes to be won, Siobhain Delphine was the outright winner who entered on behalf of her Mother, who was looking to return to study and won the opportunity to study her dream course with Sage Institute of Education. The winners of our Sage Institute scholarships were: Bree Imrie, Marjolein Van Der Werf and Pat Zammit. Congratulations to you all once again!
A big thank you to the Sage Ambassadors
We’d also like to send a big Merry Christmas shout out to our wonderful Sage Ambassadors, Commando Steve and Matthew “Richo” Richardson. You’ll find them on the feature graphics of our Fitness and Massage sites, radio and TV ads. Merry Christmas, guys, and thanks for your support.
It just wouldn’t be Christmas without mentioning some of the key charity events that we’ve been involved with in 2014. As always, we would like to extend the warmest of festive season’s wishes to the Royal Children’s Hospital, the Peter Mac Ride to Conquer Cancer and Variety Children’s Charity.
Yes, it’s certainly been a year to remember and we’re looking forward to an exciting 2015 with more great announcements to come in January. Meanwhile, to all staff, students, alumni, partners and friends, we wish you a merry Christmas and a very happy, safe and prosperous new year in 2015.
Sage Institute of Education – it’s more than a job, it’s a rewarding career.
