On 8 February 2017, Ferrier Hodgson partners, George Georges and John Lindholm were appointed as joint and several Voluntary Administrators of Australian Careers Institute Pty Ltd and a number of associated entities (the Group) pursuant to a resolution of the Board of Directors.
Unfortunately, a Deed of Company Arrangement (DOCA) proposal has not been received and therefore, the Administrators regret to advise that the Group has ceased to trade.
The company will not be taking any further enrolments for new students.
Accordingly, all classes and work placements arranged under an agreement with the Group are to cease immediately.
Going forward, all existing students will be provided with assistance regarding their current enrolment.
The Administrators will be working with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) and the Victorian Department of Education and Training to determine the current position of the students.
If you are a current student, please contact the Activations team of the Australian Council of Private Education and Training on 1800 875 474 or at http://www.acpetactivations.com.au/.
